Ollie's Early Christmas Present

Here is one of Princess Ollie's presents... It came all the way from Florida (I love you Joel!) just for her! I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to keep her from climping up the chains and swinging like Tarzan, but wouldn't ya know, she just completely ignores it. Ungrateful little ... !! It's exactly 12" above the top of the cage, and Miss Ollie is sitting in her favorite spot in the picture, so the light is about 14" from the top of her head when she sits up straight.

Just a side note- Joel was such a fantastic help in getting Ollie & I set up with F.S. lighting. He told me exactly what I needed to get, helped me find the bulbs I needed, and then he even shipped me a fixture from his own personal stock!!! I believe he even has some more, so if anybody is even considering putting up a lighting system for their special fildren, contact Joel!

Looks perfect, I just got mine setup yesterday too. My grey pokes at once in a while (has to streach really hard to reach) and gets scared and files away.

I'm sure your baby will get used to it! Pretty soon it will just get ignored, like all the other expensive things we buy for them. Spoiled, spoiled, spoiled birds...
