The Amazing Zack!

No I didn't get another bird. LOL Bet I had ya'll wondering, didn't I?

My son found this Pet Star clip and showed it to me. I thought it was great! This bird looks like he really enjoys playing those games. I think the swing is just awesome but my birds would probably completely freak out!
Hope the link works.

How awesome was that? The thing that makes me angry with that show is that the judges are ignorant and have no clue how much training it takes to make the fids do that..................
Thanks for the link

Oh... WOW...

If that bird can do all those AMAZING things, I'm SURE my fids can learn not to poop on me, right? RIGHT?

Funny you should say that about the pooping on you. I think that some birds are just more curteous than others. Gabriel, and Phoebe rarely poop on us and those rare occasions are usually when we are transporting them on our arms from one room to another. They let a bomb go and if your leg just happens to be in the way, oh well. Same way with Seymour, "D", and even Jesse. There are occasional mishaps but they are pretty safe to hold. Not Angel though. She knows what she's doing too. She even aims it! When she is riding in the carrier in the car, if my daughter is in the back seat with her she will actually climb on the side of the carrier and project the "bomb" toward my daughter! And it's not because she doesn't want to poop in the carrier either cause she does that all the time. She will whistle for the dog and when he comes running she will drop him a "less than tasty morsel". She's just a little devil at times. I still love her though.

Kim, I'd have to agree with you. I swear Spencer holds it in until I let her out of her cage. When I take her out to walk her from room to room, or upstairs, she just lets it go while we're on our way. I guess I should try to teach her to go before I take her out.

I do love that clip. I can watch it over and over, just like the clip of Einstein. But, I also agree about the judges being ignorant. If they only knew.

Anyway, thanks for posting that!

LOL Kim! I just had a picture of your bird AIMING and it just cracked me up I guess I should count myself lucky then? LOL.

I think my ekkie actually MIGHT be trying not to poop on me, I'm not quite sure yet. Sometimes he would start flapping his wings while he's sitting on my shoulder, then when I move him he'll let go. Or, just this evening he was sitting on my shoulder for awhile so I got worried that he might have to go, so I held him over the garbage can and said "GO!" and 2 seconds later he let go. Coincidence? Perhaps. But I sure was glad THAT did not land on me...

Either your ekkie was already trained, or he trained himself!

Wow, that video was amazing! Can't help but think of how many hours had to have went into teaching Zack those tricks! I thought the swing looked like a lot of fun, but how in the world did they ever teach him to ride the bicycle on the high wire? Truly amazing!
