New baby Princess Parrot
OK, Christmas came early this year. I have my new baby Princess Parrot. He is a real cutie. I will put pics up tomorrow as my RAM is pushed to capacity now and I can't open anymore programs. Trust me, he is adorable! I gave him 12 ml formula by syringe, I was going for 15 but he dribbled about 3ml. I may use the crop needle as Joel taught me on Nevaeh next time-it's neater. He will get lots of loving in any case. He is 25 days old. This breeder doesn't handfeed, he was letting parents raise aviary birds. Tjinimin's breeder told me to give a 3.5 week old 15-20mls 3 x a day. I know Princesses are rare in the States, much less handreared ones, they are a little bigger than a Cockatiel. Maybe close to a Sun Conure. I won't know the sex until the New Year-DNA lab is closed until then. Both Princesses are booked for an AV check up on 29 Dec.
