Derbyans

I've just ran across someone selling a Derbyan baby, and I had to google for pics because I couldn't recall what they looked like, or ever hearing much about them.
Does anyone here own one? What are their personalities like? From what I read, they are great talkers and make good pets, so why aren't they more popular? They're a good size, not expensive, and very parrot-looking, which I imagine would appeal to the general public.

I don't really know much about them though saying that they are in the ringneck family, I'd guess that if raised right make wonderful companions, and may have a tendency to be stubborn... They are gorgeous birds!
