The Xavier Times A Rather Grey Story By: Hayley Young An amazing suprise awaited an unsuspecting twelve year old girl on January 2nd. The animal lover was doing her daily buisness, such as laundry, when the phone rang. Thinking nothing of it, she answered with a friendly hello to hear the sentence she had been waiting to hear for weeks. "I bought them. I bought the greys!" Shouted an enthusiastic Susanne Young, Hayley's stepmother. Hayley hung up the phone, and rushed over to her dad's house to see for herself. Susanne had purchased two congo african greys earlier that evening. The greys, Cecil and Freddie, were received from a female divorcee named Michelle. Cecil, a four year old female bought from Petland by the previous owner is friendly, affecionate and does an extremly entertaining dance. Freddie is a ten year old male who was abused by his first owner before being bought by Michelle. Freddie, unlike his mate Cecil, is rather shy, although he loves to cuddle. He isn't, however, a fan of scritches. Yes the news is true!! I GOT TWO GREYS!!!!!!!   I'm honestly speechless! I'll post pictures tomorrow, but for now I must go pay attention to them!  (Sorry Joel, but I found them first. They're MINE!    )
