What a fun Saturday!

I'm back after a nice day at the wonderful events at Bird Paradise and my wallet feels just a little bit lighter! Bella had fun too and was interruptive too with her beeps, whistles, and wows! She made friends with Pepper the Congo who was doing the modling technique with Irene. Bella would chirp and Pepper would chirp back to her.

Bella's going to have a new pearch arrangement in her cage or a new table top stand with one of them. A nice big bag of the UB to top everything off and a cute new toy.

Dr. Pepperberg was wonderful and learning about the struggles that she had to go through to bring us to the level of knowledge about Greys and our avian fellows as being more than just mimics.

Sally Blanchard was a wonderful speaker and she was very knowledgable with the questions that were asked.

It was definately worth taking off from work for and I even saw a familiar stranger behind the counter ... Don ... ! The food was great and so were the many familiar faces. Freedomofflight, Small Onion, Lisa .B, Toby's Mom, and quite a few others.

Sadly the one cool pearch didn't work out but it's setup that I can make a NEW table top stand for her. I still have the board from her lastone. I can use a little one like that for her in my room besides the Sandy. She likes the Sandy No. 2 alot with the toys on it. :)

I'm just praying to the auction gods that I win that nice java stand. :) Bella would of felt as if she died and went to heaven....now getting it to the house would be an issue. :)
