Heads UP BG fans in the Pennsylvania area

I was sent this link last night to a rescue in PA for two male BG macaws that need a good home. If I could finagle them, I'd have them here. However, my husband "says no more birds". Since I already have my own 4, I thought I'd share this contact information. Seems to me their names ring a bell, but I can't for the life of me make the connection. Anyway, this could be your opportunity to acquire your dream birds. Good luck.

Oh wow...hey have a lot of beautiful birds at that resuce! 2 amazons, another macaw, cockatiels...when I move back to PA, maybe I'll find my next birdie there.

Jodi:

Now that's just plain hitting below the belt (LOL). Frankly, I keep getting emails from frantic macaw owners begging me to take their fildren. There's a lovely scarlet male in Texas that comes with a big cage for only $400. Heck, that's really the cost of the cage!

I would kill for a GW but I won't part with my babies to get there. Will says that 10 is the limit. I know he' right.

I have to skip on the male too. I don't need any competition with Maia.

Dont ask me how I saw this post---but here's an update!

But they are mine now!!We adopted them shortly after Outlaw posted this on another board. They are improving and very sweet.

This rescue was no real 'RESCUE'....these people would fail a basic knowledge test about how to care for birds and it was a money making venture only.

The real "RESCUE" was when we paid their ransom and took them to our home.

In any case they are here and doing well!!

So this story has a happy ending!!

So glad you got them.
