Nicole:
Usually, depending on the climate and such, birds will produce poop with 3 seperate colors: usually brownish or green solids, whites, and clear. When what you see looks like pea soup, all one color, then you definitely have a problem. Pellet fed birds tend to produce more colorful poops whereas birds on fresh diets tend to produce dark green or even orange brown if they've recently been fed sweet potatoes or other orange/yellow squash. I usually suggest going 24 hours before calling a vet UNLESS the bird seems ill. When your house is hot and dry, they will naturally drink more fluids. That is likely all that you are seeing.

...probably fine...but just keep an eye out for another day or so...
...since faeces, urates and urine all evacuate together, you'll get lots of different 'consistancies' to bird poop, depending on what they've been eating/drinking... ...mine 'pee' fairly regularily, or have 'dryish' poops (which clean up easily - bonus!)...so I wouldn't be concerned if the bird is otherwise acting normal...

Yes, she's acting normal, and the pee was clear, not soupy.
I didn't know if I was overreacting by being worried or underreacting by not calling the vet right away. I know she usually poops with different consistensies, but I also know that birds mask their illnesses and it can be hard to tell when they're really sick. I'm still learning this stuff. But thanks for the advice! I feel better knowing it's probably normal.
