Nancy - keep Dreamer off the phone!

Well, one of my fids has been speaking with Dreamer, yet again. I wish Nancy would keep that bird in line, and away from the phone!
Today I came home, took a much needed nap, and went into the bird room.

What to my sleepy, wondering eyes should appear
but a door missing off of Elwood's cage, oh dear!
I rubbed my eyes,
and rubbed them once more,
and still nothing
no cage door!!!!!!

I hung a few more toys this morning, and it obviously wasn't enough to keep someone happy! Me thinks it might be Merlin, my LSC. He is the master of all hardware, with help from Dreamer of course! The door was laying on the floor and the hardware for the door was scattered from one end of the room to the other!

Nancy, you might want to check your long distance bill-Tjinimin has figured out how to raise the small food doors on his cage, I now have to paperclip them down! I hope Dreamer doesn't have a way to get around paperclips!

A mere paperclip? That was one of Dreamer's first lessons - we are way beyond that! We are now into taking heavy duty bolts apart and stringing the bolt and nut across the room! Beware Tara, beware!

That has to be the funniest thing I've heard today!! I know my CAG can open food doors, but to dismantle the cage door.......that bird...s.. should have a degree in engineering!!

Thank God I just have small birds, don't know if my Princesses could undo bolts. Maybe Chaska could.................

That's amazing and incredibly funny, although I know it has to be frustrating for you. A bird's intelligence never ceases to amaze me. In less than 10 days time, Casanova figured out how to open the food doors on his cage... I've got lanyard clips on them now.

Elwoodblue is in bed this evening, WITHOUT his cage door! Hubby just got home and it is too late to try to fix it! I don't even know if I found all of the hardware to fix it!

I'm sorry Laurie! I know how frustrating that has to be!!! Heck, half the time I have problems w/cage doors! I know you're probably frustrated and irritated to the max, but it's still pretty funny.....
