Dominos?

OK, so I am planning on hitting up the dollar stores again- this time for some dice and dominos. But I remembered that dominos have that shiny look to them.... do you think they are safe for fid toys? I dunno if the shiny look comes from paint or what... but I am just wondering if they would be safe to use on toys...
