Once again, the problem with hybrids. It could easily be a run of the mill scarlet or a camelot. The red is off a bit, but then again, it could be lighting or needing a good shower.

Like Greah pointed out, its a tough call. The macaw sure doesn't have all the flash and colors of the Camelot, but it looks a little dull to be a Scarlet...

But in the end, I'd have to say Scarlet.

Indeed it DOES look like a Scarlet, but I bet it is probably a camelot as they say!

If you look at the back of his head, you can see a green spot. Plus, if you actually take a close look at the photos you can tell that they used a flash. A flash normally brightens the look of the feathers, so he should appear much brighter. I doubt it's the lighting, so I'd say camelot!

Looks a lot like Joseph but with a darker red color, and less amounts of green and yellow spreading through the red feathers...

It could have the camelot parents(scarlet/BG) but the scarlet had more dominent genes! Again, as Nancy mentioned, the problem with hybridization!

It's also possible that it's parents were a camelot and a scarlet....

Well, scarlets shouldn't have green feathers, so I guess that answers that.
