Animal Planet Report - Tropical parrots in Brooklyn

Just saw on Animal Planet "Animal Report" and it talks about the Brooklyn Parrots, a.k.a. those famous pizza eating quakers!!! They are stars!!!

This specific report airs every day until Feb 2nd, airing up to twice a day. If you've got Animal Planet and want to catch it, might want to look up at what times it comes to your area!

I saw the report also. They called the quakers "Monk Parrots" also.

These flocks of quakers made big community nests in Brooklyn on top of power line poles and this one nest was made in a church steeple. The report said the little quakers can handle the cold because they are originally from temperate climates. I think it was southern Argentina.

I'm glad I saw the report as I usually don't watch much on Animal Planet.
