First, check his wing feathers. He may have broken a blood feather. If you don't see one, then inspect the spot and look for a cut. If you do find one, wash the cut with Betadine wash and then use some Neosporin cream on it. Don't buy the Neosporin ointment for it has a petroleum base. That should fix him right up.

Hi everyone. Goliath is doing fine. I didn't realize how difficult it would be to apply betadine and neosporin to a bird's body underneath his wing with no one to help me hold him...he's a wiggle-worm! But I got it on him last night and he got neosporin again this morning and he's doing just fine...he's on top of his cage now yelling "Hello, Mama?" and "Love you! Love you! (smooch,smooch,smooch)", so I'm guessing he's his normal, happy self:-)
