10 years old or older birds?

I am wondering who among us have 10 year old or older birds?
I will start - Buck Buck will be 12 years old this year - for those of you who don't know - Buck is a male U2 who came from an abusive, neglected family.
The reason for this post - I am just curious.

Cosmo, male budgie. He should be around 10 years old this year and I've had him for nearly 5 years.

Noel, cherry head conure, age estimated at 15 last year, so she should be around 16 this year (frightening to think she COULD be older than me! )

Pistachio and Kiwi, pair of tiels... both are AT LEAST 7 years old, though could be older than 10 (who really knows... came from a shelter)

Next in line would be a female bourke who is around 9 years old (wasn't given a deffinite answer on year she was born), then Smurf who should be around 7 this year...

Beeper (senegal) is 10 this year, and this March will be his two year anniversary of coming to live with us.

Sam (BFA) is 17 and will be 18 sometime before the end of the year. We usually count from when we got her in October.

They were both adopted older. Beeper was 8 and Sam was 16. There are benefits to adopting an older bird

The majority of those birds are rehomes, but sure!

When I took in Noel, she was biting, screaming, mutilating... didn't trust any humans and didn't want to be touched. Now she trusts me, has become a lot calmer and we rarely have any episodes of mutilating herself, biting is kept to a minimum unless I get her mad (which can be done while I am grooming her, or checking her over), and she screams in the morning when she wants her food, wants Casey to sleep near her, or when she wants to wonder about the room but can't do so for herself!

Cosmo pretty much became a hermit after he lost his girl, and none of the other budgies would pay attention to him. He came here a biting maniac, and well he still bites but not like he used to, and he is more used to being handled now so there is not much biting now a days. Since finding a girl that is interested in him, she bosses him around and since putting him in a smaller cage I gave him good reason to get out and move about! He used to be a good flyer until he became a hermit, but since being in the new situation his flying has gotten much better!

I can't see much difference in Pistachios behavior, though Kiwi came here mutilating herself. She has now a full set of tail feathers that are NEARLY done growing, at least one flight feather growing in, and no chronic egg laying behaviors that I heard about! No difference seen in behavior other than she's a much happier bird now and stopped her bad habits very quickly!

I first saw Smurf in a home where people and kids smoked, did drugs, and drank alcohol. He wasn't payed attention to and quite lonely and bored all day. He was moved to a cleaner home for some months though and became a bit cheerier but not happy. I then was able to take him in, and he became my little "play boy"! There's no doubt that he's happy!

Wow, Dustin! I didn't realize Rosie was 58. She's old enough to be your mama!
