Sign of Love, or Illness?!

Okay, when a bird regurgitates to show love, do they actually puke food up?? I just always thought they made the motions like they were regurgitating, but didn't really do it.

Ollie and I were cuddling and all the sudden she opened her beak clear open and her neck went all crazy, then up came the lasagna she had for supper.

Is she sick?? Or just loving me??

I think it's luv. They actually bring up food -- a choice morsel for their beloved.

Yup yup yup. Before Tinker came along, Elwood "shared" everything with me. Now I watch them share back and forth. It's love sweetie - through and through.

Well now that I'm not worried anymore....Awwwww! I felt so left out when everybody talked about their birds regurgitating for them, and Ollie had never done it before! Now I know she loves me! (Although it was kinda gross and got sauce on my white shirt)

She did it again right after my first post. So I've been loved twice!

I got my Grey out of the cage today after work as I was taking her out she reached over and got a kernel of corn from here veggie dish. When I sat down she walked over to my hand seperated my fingers and gave me the kernel of corn. She has in the past regurgitated a pellet or two for me but I try to discourage her when she does that.

Yeah, definitely love. Beeper usually doesn't actually spit out the contents of his crop into my hand, but he has done it a few times. Gross!

LOL, she didn't really spit it out, but the first time she had so much in her mouth that it kind of ran over the sides of her beak and onto my shirt *yuck!*. The second time she kept it all contained!

Camille, that one made me laugh!

Just wait until Ollie starts flinging it at you. Now that is true love.
