Valentine update

Well, I went home this weekend prepared to do some damage control with the neglected grey. Unfortunately, Sharon's mother is not doing well, and was admitted to the hospital on Thursday. They weren't home when I was there. I did give her a call to ask about her mom, and I mentioned that I had some old perches that Ollie didn't need anymore, and a toy that I had made...ya know, if Valentine could maybe use them???

She was pretty absentminded, but she told me to just bring them by next time I was in town. I may be going home again this weekend, but more than likely it will be the next.

I'm disappointed I couldn't do anything this weekend, but what can you do??

I'm disappointed too but your right, there's not much you can do at the moment. I'm sorry her mom isn't doing well.

Yes, that is disappointing. But maybe, eventually, you will get somewhere. At least he's got someone looking out for him. I sure hope you can get somewhere with these people (sounds unlikely, but maybe improve things for him) or even better yet, get him the heck out of there.

Sharon's mom has cancer. She had a massectomy (sp) a few months ago, but I guess it had spread. I'm very worried about Valentine, but now isnt the time to start "bothering" them about her- they have too much on their minds it just won't do any good right now.

Hopefully next time I go home I can get something accomplished!
