New toy

Here is Ollie with one of the new toys I made her. I couldn't get her away from it for about 30 minutes- it never came out of her mouth!

Yup...I went and got a toddler puzzle from Walmart with big pieces...I wanted even bigger ones, but that is what I found when I opened the box. Ollie loves to chew them up.

OK- another trip to Walmart is in order.. for puzzles this time.

Before you make that trip, check out Goodwill. I've been stringing puzzle pieces for a couple of years now. Everyone has toddlers that have outgrown toys or jigsaw puzzles laying around missing pieces.

I got the puzzle idea from one of Nancy's posts, so thank her!! They really are a fabulous toy- I had dug up one we had lying around and used that first, but the pieces were a lot smaller and not as much fun! To be honest, I don't even know where a goodwill (or anything like that) is here in Manhattan...and I've been living here for almost 2 years... . They're not that expensive at Walmart though...I got 30 pieces of that size for $1.99.
