Mini Palm OK?

I was wondering...
I saw this mini palm plant at a store- so cute. Do ya think it would be fid safe? Was thinking of putting it in the finch cage...

sorry..................only plants I know of that are good for our fids is Aloe for cuts n such and green young bamboo.....

Some palms are ok for birds and mass cane is good for parrots and other birds(they can safely eat it without ill effects.)

What type of palm was it?

You know, I dunno, it was on my way out. I saw the plants and have ben looking something for my finches cage- picked up this one. It said mini palm, but I didnt see what type it was. Might have to go back and look.
They also had some nice small ferns- are ferns ok? I havent really found anything saying yay or nah.......
