Do your Fids love 'Star Wars'?

Mine do! I tell you what, a couple of years ago, my hubby and I were watching Star Wars II, and we had the surround sound off becuase the fight scenes were way to loud. About twenty minutes into it, I kept asking my husband, "What's that sound! I turned it off, is that one speaker on???"

It was driving me so nuts, I climbed up on the back of the couch 3x, took the speaker off the wall and kept holding it to my ear. Little did I know......the third time, I heard were it was really coming from! My little, innocent Quaker! His cage was over our right shoulder, so I'm standing on the back off the couch, with a speaker on my ear and then I hear an echo of sound right under my nose. It was perfect!

Star Wars has been a Fid Favorite ever since. When it comes to what my 3 parrots enjoy, you can't beat R2D2 and Light Sabers.

I haven't watched Star Wars since before I got my bird, but I'd like to teach him to whistle the Imperial March.

The Imperial March, that's perfect! Maybe I could teach mine to sing it on secret que for when my mother-in-law shows up....it would be the best inside joke EVER. Ok, I'm not that mean (sorta) but you sure made my imagination fire up.

Mine like to watch baby cartoons, also. I used to have a parrot that would do Blue's Clues. I loved it.

Nah, me myself really loves Star Wars, but my fids aren't that impressed. Well, except for when Saga hears R2 whistle...

...because then she looks like this: http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/3103/dsc00012lo7.jpg

I've never showed it to them, although I have them all (and I still prefer the original over any of the sequels or prequels). I should try it and see what they think.

I never got into Star wars... maybe because I'm not married. It's too nerdy for me, no offense.

Does anyone here like Looney Tunes? Parrots seem to love it. The sound effects, the music.

There are many volumes of cartoons you can buy. I only mention Looney Tunes because they have so many DVDs. I guess you could also buy a bunch of Disney movies or something.

Try the LT cartoons with your birds, they seem to love it in my experience.

Bella likes comedies. :) She laughs along to things that she thinks to be funny.
