Seashells ok?
I was hunting around in the garage for some odds and ends to make some toys with. I have a lot of seashells gathered from trips at the beach- do you think sanitized they would be OK for bird toys?

Hey Freedom! I just stumbled across this place last night...
Things like Clam Shells, etc are fine to use, just make sure that you've thoroughly sanitized them. I also bake them in the oven for several hours after I sanitize them. Some of my smaller birds seem to particulary like them strung up on toys with things like chunks of coconut, beads, sisal, etc.

How long do you suggest I bake them for, and at what temp?
