the answer to both of those questions is yes. dna results can sometimes be wrong, and most male parrots can help their mates incubate eggs. i have one pair of meyers where the male only incubates the eggs while the female hangs out outside of the box. but, if yours is by himself and hes trying to "incubate" the toys, i would think that your bird is female. usually a male pet parrot will rub his butt on perches or on your hand, cage bars, etc, while female pet birds will usually try to find a nest or sit on little toys, or even lay eggs.

He does the butt rubbing from time to time on one of his toys. I also have a unsexed Senegal. I think it is a female because she has green feathers on her tail around the yellow ones but I know it's not 100%. The birds are in the same room but don't interact with each other. The only time they seem to notice that the other is around is when I am paying attention to it.

lol, yea, if you really wanna know, just have him dna'd again. where did you have him dna'd the first time?? one of my breeder lutino tiels, i had her sexed when she was a baby, they said male. when she reached adulthood, she was acting like a female, so i set her up wtih a single male that i had to see what would happen, and surprise!! she laid eggs, lol.
