I was told by the bird store where I got my Jardine that she was a girl. I asked them why they thought that. The stated that the other Jardine she was housed with is probably a male because he had the orange markings on his wings as well as his already. And she acted like a girl. Okay. Well, I just got her DNA tests in and she IS A GIRL! My husband is going to love this when I tell him. He is being over run by females in the house. Our two dogs are female and now the bird is too. The only other male in the house is our 18 year old cat. Oh well.
