no glue here either...just pressure. even my ceiling protectors aren't glued..just twisted together and leaned on!

Hi ya'll (yeah, I'm from GA). We ran out of PVC pipe before we could finish the gym. We'll finish it after church today and I'll post the pics of it then:-)

Still working on the playgym:-) We should be finished with it tonight after hubby gets home. We decided that instead of using glue that we'd use pop rivets since we're not planning on taking it apart. So it's taking quite a bit longer, but it sure does feel sturdy with all of the rivets in it. We've got to rivet the top piece on tonight and then I'll wrap it with the vet wrap and screw in the hooks for toys and boings and we'll be good-to-go. I'm so excited.. I hope my fids will like it!

Please show pictures. I am the most uncreative person ever but would like to save money by making my own play station. I would buy one but Pumpkin is so afraid of everything that I don't want to spend lots of money for him to hate it. If anyone else can give their ideas, I would appreciate it.

I also want to see!
I am thinking about building my own playgym as well, but I do not know how to get started. I am not very creative either. If you all could post some pictures of your homemade play gyms, that would be great! I have been pricing out playgyms and the size and type I want is very expensive. I want one that can be transported from room to room and can be taken apart. My husband and I are very good with tools, but no creativity.

Okay...here's a couple of pics of the "almost finished" product. I've still got to put more hook thingies on for toy-holders and put their perches and treat/water cups on, but at least they can play on it now. Thank GOD my hubby helped with this...it was COMPLICATED. I don't think it would've been so hard if we'd built a square one instead of an octagon and used less fittings that we had to account for when cutting the pipes to fit.
