Glad to see you made it home safely! I'm sure little Humphrey can't wait to be with you! I wonder who suffered more?

Humphrey's been back a full day and night now. He hasn't forgotten us - in fact I've never seen him so clingy. He will not get off of my head! He keeps flying over, and landing on my head. He will fly back to get some food, but a minute later he's on my head again. Later in the night he was landing on my chest, just under my chin, and preening my hair. Tritak told me a story about leaving her parrots, and when she came back, she had 4 macaws following her around the house, regurgitating. She said that Humph might be affectionate when we were reunited. Well Tritak, if you're reading this, you were so right!
However, the litte bugger would not get in his cage for bedtime tonight. A bad and indulgent bird mommy, I moved him and his cage (with him on top - it was either that or my head/chest) into my bedroom to sleep with us. Night night (we're 5 hours ahead of the Eastern USA time) Michele and Humphrey
