Quaker video clip from Animal Planet

This is awesome! Wonderful footage of the Brooklyn Quakers that was originally on Animal Planet!

That was excellent. I'm glad to hear they are thriving and for the most part being left alone to have their homes where they want them.

I went to the website. Quakers are so cute. Brooklyn needs color so these green cuties liven up the place. But, I have a quaker and it makes me sad that these guys are living on the street. I wish I could give them all a warm, soft place to sleep with fresh veggies every day.

Kathleen, these little guys were born wild so the adults wouldn't make good pets. Last year the power companies wanted to tear down their nests and toss babies out on the ground or gas them. Lately, they have been leaving the Quakers alone, largely thanks to caring humans who gve them plenty of grief. Quakers are very clever and adaptable little birds and are thriving in various communities all over the USA!

Great site! I listened to the video clip and it sounds like my house with just the two little guys here!
