my fids are pretty sure I'm nuts!
Its almost 1 AM and I just finished the "mash" I started at 2 this afternoon. Somehow it didn't look quite as appetizing as I thought it would. But then it is designed to be a base food. My sprouter should be here on Monday I bet that will be fun too! Today was my first time ever shopping in a Whole Foods store. Maybe it was just the location but WOW what a bunch of unfriendly people. The customers that is. The employees were great. Most the customers looked (and acted) like they were seriously constapated! For days.

I have heard that Whole Foods stores are amazing. We don't have any around here, though.
Isn't it funny how much time and thought we put into their food when we just throw anything in our mouths ourselves?

Whole Foods is one of our fav stores. Employees are great. The store's offerings are fantastic! The one downtown tends to be patronized by the millionaire types living in The Pearl and NW, and they don't tend to be as friendly as the "average Joe", imo. Still, we love shopping there--I'm not a "people person", anyway, and don't spend much, if any, time talking to my fellow shoppers, so as long as they aren't openly rude, all is well :-). The other 2 stores we sometimes visit (out in The 'Burbs) have customers that seem a bit more laid back.

without saying it that is kind of what I was hinting at, this store is patronized by the Pebble beach, Carmel By the Sea crowds, which is trully the well to do of this area.

I am just amazed!! Sophie would eat nothing but pellets before today. I am sitting here watching her feist on this mash. It seems to be a success!!!
