I just moved back to Michigan from the Gold coast and am in search of a lorikeet. I havent been able to locate a breeder in the states . I really miss my bird ..

I don't know of any rainbow breeders, but they truelly are unique birds!

You can check out the ads for breeders from several states. I wanted a lory as well & found a breeder in Arkansas. I'll be driving over to pick up my bird once he/she is ready. Depending on how much you want another lory, you may consider somewhere over a weekend to pick one up. I am not a fan of shipping birds, but some breeders will do it and have full confidence that the bird will arrive healthy and unharmed.

Also, there is a Lory Breeders group on Yahoo that you can join and maybe locate a breeder. I've only been a member for a short time but the people seem helpful.
