I get to meet Dr. McDonald

Dr. McDonald is coming down to WV on the 28th of this month. He will be giving a speech on parrots and doing appointment only exames on peoples' fids. Of course you know that I signed up I am so looking forward to it. He will even surgically sex you bird for you and let you look in your scope. (woo hoo,,,I get to play Nancy and look into scopes lol ) I think that it is just going to be the coolest thing ever.

Well yesterday was a wonderful day. It got clear up to 70 here and I was able to do a little yard work. It really made it clear how much I have to do this spring and summer I even let the kids go outside and play for a little while. Of course you know I had to take a picture lol. They were playing on the swing that I have had since my oldest was 3 (she is now eight), so the swing looks worse then it is lol. I put a full things on the swing for them to play with, but I left the rest of the parts packed up since it is going to get nasty this weekend. Once everyone got done playing, I made supper. Of course Zimmie, Max and Crybaby decided that they just had to be the first ones at the table to eat They are just so spoiled. Once I got supper done I decide to let everyone have a picnic on the living room floor while we looked out the front door and windows. It was so nice. We all sat there eating and enjoying the warm breeze that was coming in. It was so funny because every time the breeze would hit Zimmie's butt, she would make a giggling sound I do believe that she was enjoying that . Once everyone got done, I put Max and Zimmie on there stands and had Crybaby on my shoulder. I took her out on the front porch with me while I was talking on the phone to my mom and the kids were playing outside again. She just started talking up a storm She was saying Crybaby, I love you, Crybaby, hello there, hello mom. I was so surprised and excited that I stuck the phone up to crybaby and told my mom to listen. Crybaby just started yelling really loud HELLO MOM. Now this is a big shock because Crybaby usually does not talk in front of anyone. I always make fun of her and tell everyone that she is my closet talker My mom was just thrilled (I swear if that woman could steal crybaby from me she would ). Mom actually thought that she was saying hello mom to her I did not have the heart to tell the old woman that she is just repeating something that I have said to her over a thousand times. I figured that it would not hurt to let her think that, besides it made her feel special

Yeah right, All that max was doing was saying HMMMMMMMMM like fifty million times As soon as that bird hears someone in the kitchen making noises he is yelling for food!! he is such a piggy No Jim, it did not take long for my fids to learn to eat like that. I have only had zimmie (the BF) around two months now and she has been eatin off of plates and regular food for about a month and a half. All of my fids eat people food. They all get there own plate made when I make my kids' plates and we all eat together. It is a family tradition to eat with the fids
