Captain Jack Update!

Hi Everyone!

As most of you know Captain Jackeroo went to the Vet for his blood work tests to determine if there was any hope for his kidneys.

First and foremost, Thank you so much for all your support and prayers! They truly helped! We know that they provided us with this miracle! WHOO-HOO!

Our Vet was amazed with his Blood work results and urinalysis/fecal results. Today she told us that she wasn't sure if Jack was going to make it to his Vet appointment today.

His urinalysis/fecal came out Normal!!! What a blessing! Such a major improvement in such short time.

His blood counts were very good, all factors considered. She checked for anemia, TB, diabetes, and all sorts of other diseases and the only thing that she found was that his WBC count had toxicity. She said it was a normal count, but the cells themself showed the toxicity. He is responding to an infection.

We go back Monday at 4pm for another check up to see how he is doing on his antibiotics (Clavomox and Allopurinol).

We are so thankful that he is showing progress! We thank you all for your support and prayers. W know they helped! I will continue to keep you updated!!

Thanks again!!!

P.s. He gained 10 grams!

I couldn't be happier if it was Bob, himself who got the miracle news (surviving living with me is probably a miracle in and of itself :-). Congratulations, Stubby Jack! May you love and entertain your humans for many long decades to come, and may you all grow old and cranky together *grins*. Live long and prosper!
