Zen is home!
Zen came home this morning. She laid the egg overnight. She is now on Septra for infection and a calcium supplement. We need to keep her from flying too much because her legs are weak from calcium being leached out of her bones. Right now she's in her cage covered and is not happy about it, but I'd rather have her mad than injured...
She'll go for a recheck in 2 weeks - the doctor wanted to see her next week but they both already have an appointment on the 25th for blood tests for boarding, so she'll be rechecked then and will also probably get another Lupron shot. I think we'll try the Lupron treatment again when her next cycle starts. It's been 4 years - perhaps her body has changed enough so that it will be effective this time. We're just not sure about the keeping her away from paper to shred, etc., since in our house it's either shredding paper or our furniture! Thank you all so much for your thoughts. I hope you know how much I appreciate each and every one of you.

Congrats!!! What a relief!!! That is just great!!! I love to hear good news...Im so happy she was able to come home.
