Half an hour is like forever for the fids!

I had a meeting this evening that ran me behind by half an hour. No big deal to those with no fids at the house. You would have thought that I had run away for a week the way these guys and gals acted!
Tinker knows when it is dinner time and starts with her "ready to eat". I think she eggs everybody else on Everybody vocalizes terribly until they are served their dinner........ Once served Tinker will ask "is that good?" She is such a character.
Because I was running a little late I kept everyone up a little later than usual - OMG - you would have thought I was pulling feathers the way everyone acted around here. They know when it is nite nite time and I don't dare break that routine.
This explains why I would rather run to WalMart at 1:00 in the morning on the weekends to buy groceries, vice going after work.

ha ha ha TOO funny!

When Angel hears pots and pans banging shes asks "do you want breakfast?" (imagine southern accent!)

If you eat in front of her and dont give her any she asks "is that good?!"

and if you give her something she likes she says "YMMMM!!!" wth every bite! lol

Tammy, I still can't believe that I drove all over that area looking for your house with my windows down and couldn't hear a single squawk!

Laurie, Chaska is letting me know it is time for dinner even when she hears the car in the driveway!

I'm currently trying to move dinner time up an hour so that when daylight savings time starts, it won't be such a pain in the morning. I'm making them wait a half hour now in the morning and pushing the evening meal to almost an hour. My fids get breakfast about 7:15 am in the cold months. That would bde 6:16 in the summer and that's too early. And, they usually get fed between 3:30 and 4:00 in the evening now. That would be 2:30 summertime, and that's a late lunch. So I'll start stretching the time now. I like for them to play outside until the sun starts to go down.

I do have to provide more interesting snacks however to tide them over.

Daylight savings time is what started this mess! My fids were used to being fed at 6:00, which gave me plenty of time to get things ready.

I know that my fids get very mad if they are up past 7 p.m. or if I don't have the lights on by 6 a.m. And you better watch out if they are not feed by 630 a.m. Thank God that I am a morning person.
