Ummm.... I grew up riding a Percheron cross. 18 h. gelding, stubborn as a post, but I loved that crazy horse! He could knock down a fence just by leaning on it, and he once planted a big hind foot on my chest and kicked me through the barn. Silly barn needed fixing, anyway :-). He wasn't fast, but he was strong, and I could usually convince him to do anything from jumping logs to walking on frozen-over ponds in the winter (I know, I know--dumb. But hey, I was just a kid, right?)! I loved taking him in parades. We weren't fancy, and we were never involved in the training/showing/horse fair stuff--I was just an old-style country kid (which means no money, no boarding at fancy stables, no riding English with all the fancy gear, trainers and trailers, and I did all the mucking, feeding, grooming, tack maintenence, etc. by myself), he was just my riding horse for trails up the old logging roads, over rivers, through swamps, and exploring logged hillsides, where we always saw deer and elk. I haven't had another horse since I graduated H.S., though, and moved out, and it's been a long, LONG time. Still 'n' all, I could probably be called a "crazy horse person" even to this day :-).

I am totally horse crazy! I've ridden for about two years now and am leasing a cute little pony and i don't know what i would do without horses! My friends all hate me for it too, because i'm always talking about him and horses in general. My pony is really funny because one day he won't move for me, and then the next i can't get him to stop! I might not be as horse crazy as some people but id say i diffinatly am horse crazy!

Ok lets see I started off with a little pony Tom Thumb out grew him and went to a bigger pony named Cocoa (pretty buckskin) he was bad used to run people into trees.
Then I finally got my horse, an Arab named Joyteza.
Throughout these years I never owned a saddle LOL looking back wonder how I did it.
When I moved to FL I ended up with another Arab E.T. (Early Times) pure white he was a beauty, a leopard appy named Breezer and two buckskin mares, Diva and Bonnie (had registered names but so what) they were the ones we would show.
I have always been a trail rider at heart taking the dogs with us through the woods for hours at a time.
I took English riding lessons and want to go into Gran Prix style jumping but needless to say that never happened.
The 2 mares were only shown in halter classes because of their ages.
Here is a picture of the 4 kids.
