Scarlett: "squawk squeak annoying squawk" (just obnoxious noise she knows I hate)
Me: "stop it"
Scarlett: "squawk"
Me: "bad bird"
Scarlett: "good girl"
Me: "no you're not, you're a bad bird"
Scarlett: **insert ear-splitting ekkie screech**

She sounds like a hoot! I haven't heard the Ekkie screech...Is it anything like the Grey scream? But yeah, I know what you mean....they're rotten. Here's my conversation with Goliath (my Hahn's) for the evening:

Me: Do you want some sweet potato?
Goliath: Shower
Me: No, you had a shower this morning. Do you want some sweet potato?
Goliath: Apple. Grape. Apple. Grape.
Me: Do you want some sweet potato?
Goliath: Shower
Me: No, Goliath. Let's go night-night.
Goliath: **Makes kissing noises**
Me: **Make kissing noises while taking him to his cage** Night night sweet birdie. I'll see you in the morning. (I walk off)
Goliath: Mama! Love you! Mama!
Me: Love you too. Go night-night.
Goliath: Mama!
Me: Goodnight, Goliath. Mama is going to bed.
Goliath: **Unintelligible muttering as only a mini-macaw can do**

Good grief, he's spoiled. I told him the other day that I was going to change my name. Between three kids and one bird screaming "Mama!" constantly and a Grey who doesn't talk yet but honks at me every time I leave the room I'm exhausted by the end of the day. But I love them all dearly and wouldn't trade 'em for anything in the world.
