this was wierd........

ok, while shopping I got some broccoli for the birds. Sophie looked at it like.............what do you want me to do with this? Benji just moved it around his cage. Poor Zoey. poor poor Zoey. I have never seen her flip out before. It didn't matter what size it was, she is scared of Broccoli. I mean terrified. So no more broccoli for the fids. Except for she doesn't know its in her mash .................sssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

You could try eating some broccoli yourself in front of the birds. Birds always want to eat what their humans are eating!

I did. Zoey gave me one of these and ran away squakin. Sophie, well, she pretty much just wasn't impressed.

I love these stories - so funny but not at all harmful. Have you tried Italian Broccoli - Rappini? You might trick them with that - its more leafy.

I find that my bird likes frozen broccoli that has been thawed out--but not the fresh stuff.

hehehe.

Gummy is a pig and will eat just about ANYTHING. he'll eat both the litlte seed things and the stem, whereas Lily is starting to eat everything Gummy does, and now only eat the seedy part.
