Gypsy does that too. And if you stop scratching her she will look all pitiful and scratch herself. So you HAVE to go back and scratch her some more of course.

That's a very common macaw thing and I think all of the Hahns I've ever seen do it routinely.

My jenday conure does it frequently as well, haha. I think of it as his way of saying "I've had such a rough day and am soooo exhausted from napping, playing and eating all day"
