GSE - best place to buy?

I've seen that quite a few people are using this to clean cages and a myriad of other things. I'm looking to buy some and put it to use. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to find it, or which brand to look for? Are there even different brands and if there are, is one better than another?

I recently read that it's a good substitute for the carpet shampoos that can contain toxic chemicals. I'm trying to make my home as bird safe as possible while keeping us from living like cavemen. Within the next few weeks, I'll be needing to clean the carpets in the whole house.

If anyone has some suggestions on where to get the GSE, or some non-toxic stuff I can clean carpet with please share with me. Thanks!

You can buy it from health food stores, and most people use Nutro brand... heck, I don't really know of any other brands out there!

We buy ours from Whole Foods. It about 17 dollars for the large sized bottle, but well worth it. Its seems to last for a long time. Plus it is nice to not have to worry about it possibly being harmful to our fids! You can definitely find it online for way cheaper...Maybe try Google.com and type in Nutro GSE in the search column.

I buy it from GNC....conveniently located in the train station as I make my commute. I think the bottle I bought was 10 bucks, but it's in a glass bottle with an eye dropper. You really don't need a lot of it, so it'll last a while. I've kept mine in the fridge, but I don't know if that's really necessary. I just like everything (including peanut butter) cold.

Heh, now I don't feel like such a freak. I keep my peanut butter in the fridge too. I started doing it because it's the all natural stuff, then I figured out that I like it better cold. Back when I smoked, I also kept those in the fridge. Next I'll be keeping my clothes in there.

I dug through some older posts and came up with this product:
http://www.nutriteam.com/Grapefruit_...z-p-16179.html
I saw this particular brand mentioned a few times and it'll probably be the one I go with if no one can suggest something they've found to be better.

Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.

I bought mine for about $11 from the local natural foods store. It lasts me quite a long time. I could probably save a lot of money online but I just don't run through it that quickly.
