Pix of my boy....

Last night I visited my new baby, like every night. I took the camera, this time, though. He was being super cute! Whatcha think?

And just for a bit of variety, my youngest son with Petey McSweet on his arm (Petey thought to attack that grungy old leather coat, and fell onto Rob's arm--what a surprise for both of them :-).

Talking

Thanks for the updates - He's a beauty, no doubt about it. It will be fun to see the home photos.
Your son looks a little leery but it’s a good shot too – handsome bird & kid.
I like your colour scheme - bold colours for bold birds - I bet they look great against that terra cotta (?) colour. Really nice gyms.

Cap'n, the rest of the feathered ones are doing great :-). Gracie is demanding yet adorable (right now she's saying "I love you" and wanting out of her cage), Bob is playful and naughty, Petey is talkative and sweet, and Eddie--well, he's just Eddie--pretty, but not playful, and rather scary! LOL!

My son in the pic, btw, went to his Junior Prom last night (first prom for him). He told us Wednesday that the prom was Friday! Had to rush the tux and all the other stuff (like limo rental), but it turned out well. He came home around 1 am, happy with the event and the fun time he had with his date and the group they went with. He cleans up real well, despite that old coat *grins*.

Thanks, homebird! Yep, we're not afraid of color around here! LOL! The back wall you're looking at is a kind of salmony/coral color, the side walls are peach-colored, the ceiling is a very vivid yellow, and the picture rails are lavender. Kind of weird how the picture rail color was chosen--I was sitting in the living room one morning, admiring the new paint job, and sunlight was brightening the room nicely. I looked up, and there was a shadow on the wall--and it was lavender colored. I thought it looked very nice against the other colors, so we went and got a quart of the closest match I could find. Sure enough, we're pleased with it. We call the LR/DR our "ice cream parlour": Raspberry sherbet and Peach sherbet walls, lemon sorbet ceiling, blueberry ice cream pic rails, and vanilla trim and fireplace unit :-).

LOL Gary! You could always try :-). Don't think you'd get past Letitia, though--she knows that if that happened, I wouldn't come back, and then she wouldn't get to swoon over my spouse's Scottish accent *grins*.

That’s right its Prom season. I never liked that stuff, Amber did though. I did however like the parties after prom!!! That’s great they had a good time, and sure nice of you to rent them a Limo. Tell him he needs to do extra chores now to show his appreciation. Or you'll sick Gracie on him!!!

I grew up in a small town, and wasn't one of the popular kids, so I never got invited to a prom, nor did I invite anyone. I did get to "produce" a prom during my senior year, though, and that was fun. I just never got to see how it turned out....

I don't think my boyos particularly like prom, either. My eldest never went, and my youngest only went because his date REALLY wanted to go to her first prom (she's a sophomore), and she's one of his friends. My daughter, though, LOOOOOOVED proms! I think she went to two.

Not much partying after the prom for this group. They had dinner first at Pastini's, which is where the limo (just a regular stretch limo--not a stretch Ford SUV or a stretch H2--too expensive for those) met them, then off to the prom 'til 11. Then they went looking for ice cream, but the only places open were McDix, and the limo couldn't go through their drive-thru! LOL! So they went to Shari's, instead, and then the limo drove everyone home who didn't have a car, since it was rented 'til 1am. I think Rob was the last one dropped off, since he arrived home just about 1:00. He said it was fun, and although I got a couple of nice pix of him and his date prior to the prom, I'm looking forward to seeing the photos they had taken at the prom. All in all, it went smoothly, even if it was rushed and I got all stressed out :-).
