Bird Smells

So the breath topic brought this to my mind.
Does anyone else's bird have a...wierd smell?

After Trinkets gets a bath, he smells like cinnamon sugar. >X3 I could sniff him all night long! :D

And am I the only strange one that loves when she can walk into a room and smell the birds? It's never a foul odor (no pun intended) just the smell of the feathers. I especially love it when I press his back against my nose and (to use a phrase of my mom's with her grandchildren) suck out all their goodies.

My quaker and my Harlequin smell good! My Harlequin always smells like fruit. My 'zon on the other hand smells musty, but that doesn't keep me from him. Of my 6, those are the only three that will let me close enough to smell thier feathers!!

I just love to pick up Ducky and hold him to my nose and smell him -- I then tell him "pretty birdy smell" -- I don't think he enjoys that but he tolerates me.

Sakai smells like soy sauce after you bath him. I have no idea how that makes sense!

I don't like how Ducky smells when he's wet -- he's stinky. However, I do love the way he smells when he's dry ... such a pretty smell.

I love the smell of budgies! I sometimes hold ours and just nuzzle them. The probably think~WTH! When I was a kid, the anise seed in their "hartz mountain box seed" was a wonderful odor....Also Macaws have a distinct odor, metallic? I remember some senegal babies had a really strong smell that was IMO a bacterial or yeast problem.
