They sure are handsome birds - nice that you got the camera - we all like photos.

I know a lady who has a Jardin - Mikie. He must be 20 now. She got him 3rd or 4th hand, when he was about 3 or 5 - i'm unsure. She said that he bit pretty badly for the first little while but eventually he stopped that. He has a large cage & stand in their family room & his travel/sleeping cage is in their spare room. He has a quiet life & enjoys visiting her sisters, on holiday time, as they also have birds. He has only a little red on his forehead & a few red feathers on his ankles.

I think the 1st photo would adapt best to a tatoo - it's sweet & peaceful. Personally I'd wait & find an artist who can produce a drawing that you love - before getting someone to copy your bird - but maybe you already now someone who does 'portrait tatoos', this well? Are you going for colour or B/W?
Cautionary note: My husband was in a lot of tatoo shops here in TO, 2 years ago when he was selling lighting to shops (quit) & he met some really interesting guys & learned a lot about health & safety. There aren't a lot of guys who are professional - surprising in this age. Look for very clean, boothes, & masks - the blood gets into the air apartently. If you're looking for good places here (?) - I'll ask him for some names.
