Thumbs up Spencer's new cage has arrived!!

It came in last night. It took an hour and a half to put together. It was definitely a 2 man job, but I handled it nicely!!!

It's a lot bigger than I expected it to be. But, that's good. Because, as you'll see, his old cage wasn't that big at all!!!

You're killing me! You bought a mansion for your fid - I couldn't find him at first....is that small bird in the middle Spencer???...Yes it is!!!!

It is a beautiful cage however. It is more a piece of 'Furniture' than the old one - I'm planing on surprising Mom with a new cage, soon I hope. Your photos look as if the toys were crowding the cage before. Your new cage looks as if it could hold a longer tailed bird..... or even more ropes etc

LOL, I'm really laughing here!!! Spencer is actually not in the cage. I have an African Grey statue on top of my TV. I'm assuming that what you think is Spencer. But, it's not much different with him in the cage. There is so much more room. I'm waiting for a swing to come in the mail. Hopefully, later this week. Then, I might add some rope perches as well.

It is more "furniture" like than my last cage. This is the type of cage I wanted all along. I'm glad I finally got it. It's the same cage I'm going to get for Tristan, except with a playtop.

I got it from Jane, the lady that's raising Tristan (for Jean Pattison). I believe her supplier gets the cages from HQ Cages.

He's a little unsure of the cage right now, but it is new!! I haven't decided if I want to put a boing in the cage or a regular swing. I have a swing on order, hopefully he'll let me know how he likes it!

Nice cage, and I rather like this one myself. It doesn't seem to be as long as mine is. I'm definately getting a new cage for the new bird. I just have a feeling the one I have may not work. 30x18x30 heh. Very odd build.
