Congrats!!! I would let him settle in today and then tomorrow I'd keep his cage door open with all the other animals put away if you can and let him feel comfortable with the feeling of being able to come and go into his cage. This is how I always introduce a new bird to my family. Then when they come out on their own you can try and have him step up.
He's just a baby so it will take a little practice climbing around. My Betty Rubble is still very young and she can't seem to navagate from the inside of her cage to the top so I continue to put her on the top |

Congrats on your new red-bellied! Beetle came from a wonderful couple who occasionally has RB babies available so believe me: I've been tempted!
