Everything Into The Water?????

Just wondering if your birds are the same as ours.........food, toys, ect go into the water either for a dip to soften the food or they just leave it in the water??!!!

Oh yeah, my birds are always making nasty water. We kindly refer to it as vomit water. I dump the nasty water in the toilet and then wash the bowl out in the sink. Once while I was in the process of changing waters, one of my children walked in, saw the mess and yelled out "who vomited??" Of course they all came running, and were thoroughly disgusted to learn that it came out of the birds' water dishes.

Come on!!! Its a delicacy...Macaw Soup. Remember, only the finest ingredients go in with special attention given to the precise amounts to achieve the right texture and color.

Poor Ollie dipped his plastic race car in the water for weeks on end trying to soften it up!

Every water dish in this house is a soup dish... Too Soup, Cag Soup, Tiel Soup, Lovie Soup... Luke goes so far as to get in the bowl with his gunk and stomp on it. Y'think we live too close to Napa and he's making wine?

Willow loves to drop food and sometimes toys in his water bowl too!! He will go to his food bowl and try to fit as many pieces of food in his mouth at once and then try to climb up to his water dish (sometimes deciding that he didn't quite get enough and turns back for more) without dropping any until he is over his water bowl . I caught him trying to soften an almond in the shell in his water bowl earlier this week too...I guess it didn't get soft enough for him as he dropped it soon after taking it out of the water . And just yesterday I came home to find BRIGHT blue water...Willow must have gotten a block of wood from one of his new toys, dropped it in his water, and when it was just right took it out and dropped it to the bottom of the cage.
