Miro takes 1st in FWCAS Photo Contest!

We were at the Florida West Coast Avian Society show in Sarasota today, and Miro is FAMOUS- Well, Not really- But he does have a ribbon- 1st place in the action photo category-


For some reason, he is scared TO DEATH of the ribbon, though... Runs from it. Oh well.

Even better, I won VENDOR BUCKS for the show, so he got new toys... He is FINALLY starting to earn his keep!

Miro got himself one of those acrylic boxes with shapes to sort (he is VERY smart and learns tricks like that fast- especially if there is a peanut involved!), and a bunch of those plastic balls with bells in them that both he and his 'sister' zoe love...
