The most beautiful parrot?
Hey all,
Once again I'm curious... We all all know parrots are all beautiful and unique in their own way, but not based on their personality, or pet quality what do you think the most beautiful parrots is? Of course I think all parrots are beautiful, but I'd have to say one of the most beautiful parrots would have to be the Rainbow Lorikeet. The species come in so many gorgeous colours! Red, blue, yellow, green, and orange, ... the rainbow! But of course the little bums aren't great pet quality lol(They're nippy, and they're poops liquidy!) I've interacted with many many lorikeets and two of those both attempted to bite the skin off my fingers, and the others gave me a feces shower . They're still high on my list  ANYWHO, what do you think are/is the most beauitful parrot? Runner ups in my books would be some of the cockatoo species such as the Moluccan(gorgeous white), Crimson wing rosella, and Catalina macaw. Steven

My absolute favorite in that department are hawkhead macaws. Astonishing little things.

Citron cockatoos are so adorable to me. Major mitchell cockatoos. Any type of cockatoo really... There also is this blue mutation amazon thats incredible looking http://www.voren.com/photogal/bluenape.htm
And prettiest of all are my own babies of course.

I, too, have always thought they really looked more like zons, but I think they have long tails like macaws. In any event, they are macaws.

You are correct about the tails,however they are still macaws.
