We made our playgyms for our fids. I have a wonderful book and would be willing to e-mail you a copy of the instructions if you are interested. It is made out of pvc and you can adapt it to your liking, and add hooks for toys. Mine love theirs.

My hubby made ours also. I love yours ! Where did you get the pieces that look like branches. It looks like the Too in the front of the photo is sitting on one.

We treated the branches and attached them to the gyms to give them something "natural" to hang out on and chew on. Please send me an e-mail address for those that would like a copy of the instructions.

Oh WOW your birds playgym looks amazing! Your did such a great job on that!
I think I have the book that shows how to make a gym like that some where, I know it gives tips on making all sorts of toys. We made a smaller one for our CAG out of PVC buts she was so scared of it that we finally had to just take it out of the room.

I have a book called Parrot Toys and Play Areas by Carol S. D'Arezzo and Lauren Shannon-Nunn that has some cool play gym ideas. I got it on Amazon.com

Tiki,
That's the book! I love it.
There are no bottoms on the play gyms, however, we bought plastic pools and cut slits for the pvc legs to slide through, and the pool catches the seeds and the poopies!
