She sure looks frisky & alert. Does she like the play stand? Give us more photos of her playing too, please. From the photo - her feathers are in wonderful condition.

How old is Quito?
Is she your first bird?
Is she what you expected when you got a GC?

LOL, you remember that country song, something about "ten feet tall and bullet proof"?? That's my girl!
Funny thing about playstands. She has two. The one she's on in the photo is a three-level table top affair, with lots of swings, ladders, platforms and and about fifteen perches, and it sits right behind my computer chair. For the most part she uses two spots on it. One is the half -moon shaped ladder on the front, where she presents herself for grape pieces. Grapes are a
wonderous thing, you know. Then she uses the tallest of the three platforms, because I hang millet spray from the toy that hangs above it. Other than that, the rest of the play-gym is largely a poop catcher. If she starts to move around to other spots on it, you can be sure she's bored, and getting ready to jump off. The two swings are totally useless, since they are on the bottom level. Does any bird like to sit on the bottom level??
The other playstand is a floor type that sits by my TV chair. It's one of those gnarly grapvine things with about a hundred places to perch? Yup, she uses two of those places. One next to the treat cup and toy hanger I rigged up from a coathanger, and the other favorite perch is the one nearest to my chair, where she lets me know that the treat cup is empty, and she's getting ready to jump off on to me. A T-stand with treat cup would have been about $200 cheaper.

It looks pretty cool though!
For your other Q's:
Quito (pronounced Kee-toe by the way - the "u" is silent) is 3 1/2 months old. God help me when the hormones hit!
Yes, she's my first bird. Well, other than keets when I was a kid about a hundred years ago. And a Goldfinch with a wonky wing that we rehabilitated last winter.
Is she what I expected? Yeah, she's a hoot! Ask me again when aforementioned hormones kick in.
