Success at last!
Charlie had his first shower tonight after two bites to my hand and ear piercing screams and he loved it.
He had been deathly afraid of showers for many years and would only allow himself to be misted. After a couple of minutes he settled down and loved it. He even held out his wings so I could get his pits. I have been trying to shower him for a year and a half and suffered a few battle scars in my attempts. Who says you can't teach a old Macaw new tricks,if your willing to give up a little blood in the process. __________________

I had a lot of trouble getting Kei into the shower when I first got him, but now he absolutly loves it. I guess he just didn't know what he was missing out on.
