Anyone give their birds green pepper seeds??
I was making stuffed green peppers for supper tonight and I gave Kally some seeds.......not sure if they are ok??...I have never heard otherwise??.....anyways she just loves them

I've heard of people doing that, but I haven't myself, so I can't say if my birds enjoy them or not.

My p'let Paulie adores any pepper seeds...they are his favorites. He eats bell pepper seeds
 (but doesn't care for the peppers...I eat them!) and japapeno peppers and seeds.

I give my conure dried chili peppers. He loves to crunch them up and dig out the seeds. I've tried giving them to my cockatiels but they don't care for them as much.

My Ducorps Cockatoo LOVES the seeds directly from the green pepper...has eaten them for many years. TIKI also loves cantalope seeds BUT that is a bit messier scene...I rinse them in a strainer then get all stringy stuff off best as possible, then spread seeds to dry on paper plates & will either zap in the microwave very briefly OR if my oven is being used, I spread them out & bake them for a few minutes....they love them as a treat!

green peppers
All my birds love that whole center section with the seeds in the green peppers. A kabob or skewer toy works great for these.
