IRN's in London
Hello all. I had just arrived from the airport and thought I'd take a quick walk through hampstead heath (in london) yesterday. I was lucky enough to see wild IRN's...I never saw them when I lived here. And, my sister in law (who's lived here 8 years only saw them for the first time yesterday)! so I'm sooo lucky to see my little Bindy's (my IRN) all around london. It was so cold too! i can't beleive how they've adjusted. Just thought you'd find it interesting.
Here's a link to an old article from the BBC website that I read a couple months ago that tells about them. And has lots of photos. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/education/3869815.stm |

Yep, here on vacation visiting my husbands brother and sister. I was shocked though with the wild parrots. i lived in west hampstead in '99-00 and we didn't see any. so i was quite shocked to find them on my first trip out of the house! what a treat. needless to say, it's already made my visit very happy....well, that, curry, and mcvities. I had sent you a private message before i left. i'll send you another private message now. :)
