Guess who's coming home?????

I can hardly contain myself!!!! I spoke with Jane last night, and she informed me that Tristan was ready to come home. I had to figure out my schedule for next week so I could figure out when I'd be able to go get her. It looks as though I'll be taking a trip to Maryland on Friday to pick up my baby girl!!

I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am. You'd think I was getting my first bird. Like the last couple of months weren't long enough..... this week is going to last forever!!! But, it'll be well worth it in the end!!!

Machelle!!! You will have plenty of pictures. Don't worry. I tend to go over board with the pictures!!! Here's some of Spencer!!

I've been taking Spencer out when I take Niko for her walks. Spencer seems to enjoy it. At first, he was quiet during the walks, but now he whistles and talks as we go!! I've gotten the Parrot Tower to keep in my living room. It's not as big as the PVC play stand that I have. I will be moving the PVC one up to my computer room. And, as of lately, he's turned in quite the little acrobat. It's so funny to watch!!

Smile I hope it all goes well with your new bird

Spencer is definately a very lucky bird - I love the carrying cage - are your arms getting lots of muscle? Hope he doesn't mind sharing you & his toys!

Hope your new CAG gets along well with everyone.
I can't remember if I read your thread about why you're getting a CAG after having a TAG. Did you have a reason for switching?

All the best

Not switching, just getting the best of both worlds!!! (so to speak). African Greys have been my favorite for as long as I can remember. It was some time last year that I learn how truly wonderful Timnehs were. I didn't really know too much about them at the time. I had heard of them, but that was about it. After I got Spencer, my original plan was to get another Timneh. But, after some thought, I decided that I wanted to have a Congo as well. I'm sure once I get more room, I'll add another Timneh (&/or another Congo).... who knows.

Congratulations on the new arrival. I love CAG's. After having Moosie for 2 1/2 years I wouldn't be able to live without her.
How do you like the adventure cage. We are considering getting one for Moosie and Baba. Where did you buy it and how much are they if you don't mind me asking?

I love the Adventure Pack. It's perfect for Spencer. Hopefully, it'll work for Tristan as well (I did buy 2).

I got them from www.birdsafestore.com

They were about $100 each. Which isn't bad.

I know how you feel about not being able to live without your baby!! I couldn't imagine life without Spencer. He's added so much to my life. If only he knew. I'm sure she will, but I hope Tristan gives me half as much as Spencer has.
